Description:  I was happy to get a photo of MEC 511 - a one-of-a-kind paint sheme for Pan Am affectionately dubbed the "Smurf" by New England railfans. We are looking at the north end of Pan Am's yard in Ayer, MA. Their line to Worcester, MA is on the right side of the photo.
