Title:  TFM 1654 leads train 220 east of Temple
Description:  TFM 1654 roars through the rural Georgia countryside. The Mexican visitor was added on the trains journey through KCS territory after the trash 9 third out failed providing us with another chance to shoot a TFM, which has become rare. Here the train highballs south just east of Vila Rica, with a hogger that would have the train in our rear view mirror all the way to Austell.

Description:  A now rare KCS powered 220 prepares to slam the diamonds in the town of Bremen, GA, well advertised by the building to the right. The train, which is on the East end (Atlanta to Bham) is crossing the former CofG to Cedartown, GA. After a year of waiting it was awesome to get my first southern belle in the lead!

Title:  Clash of the titans
Description:  A NS South end autorack and a CSX coal train are neck and neck coming through the plant at Howell Wye with both their respective engines roaring in run 8 to get their trains up to speed. Shortly after the scanner crackled to life to announce "clear Howell Wye" a NS unit popped around the curve, but wait! A CSX unit popped out from behind it a second later doing a considerably higher speed but had to make the circuitous journey through the plant. Even after catching an approach at 10th St. the train popped out from behind the buildings right in time! Moments like this is what makes King Plow one of my favorite railfanning spots.
